Commissioner McCarty and Santa Arrive Early in Boca Raton

Commissioner Mary McCarty and Santa Claus were among the first arrivals at Palm Tran's new station located at Town Center in Boca Raton. This new service stop is a contemporary-styled, open-air, covered transit station made possible by the partnership of the City of Boca Raton, County Palm Tran, Town Center and its owner, the Simon Property Group. The 300-square-foot station with five bus bays is expected to be a busy hub and relieve congestion during rush hours. The station's official opening and dedication was November 21, and the stop is located north of the northeast entrance of the mall on Butts Road.
