Palm Tran, Palm Beach County’s public transportation agency, will provide free transportation to and from the memorial services for Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies Jonathan Wallace and Donta J. Manuel.
On December 5, Palm Tran will pick up passengers at the Pahokee Recreation Center, located at 360 E. Main Street. Loading will begin at 8 a.m. Passengers will be transported to the Sound Advice Amphitheatre and returned to the Pahokee Recreation Center at the conclusion of the memorial service.
Wednesday is a regular service day for Palm Tran. As a result, the availability of additional resources for this service will be limited. The capacity for this service will be approximately 250 passengers. This special transportation is being provided at the request of the Sheriff’s Office to ensure that residents of Pahokee with no access to transportation are able to attend the memorial.
