Palm Tran Route Detours

        The City of West Palm Beach will close Quadrille Blvd. between Banyan Blvd. and Datura St. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007.  Quadrille is to be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 and should re-open at 2 a.m. on Jan. 1.  Times are subject to change at the direction of the City of West Palm Beach. 
        The affected Palm Tran routes include:

• Route 1 Northbound will travel US-1 and detour to Lakeview Ave. east to Tamarind Ave., north to Banyan Blvd. and west to US-1 where it will resume normal routing.  Route 1 Southbound will follow the reverse of the above detour.
• Route 2 Northbound will travel from Okeechobee Blvd and detour to Tamarind Ave., north to Banyan Blvd., east to Rosemary Ave., north to 3rd St., east to Quadrille and south to Banyan where it will resume normal routing.  Route 2 Southbound will follow the reverse of the above detour.
• Route 40 Eastbound will travel via Banyan Blvd. east to Rosemary Ave., north to 3rd St., east to Quadrille and south to Banyan Blvd. where it will resume normal Westbound routing.

Passengers who would normally board these routes on Quadrille will need to use stops along Banyan Blvd.
