"Cradle in the Sky," by artist Pamela Banker, can be viewed at Palm Beach International Airport's concessions mall in the main terminal on the second level.

Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program invites the public to attend an artist reception at Palm Beach International Airport on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 5:30 - 7 p.m. in the Airport’s Concession Mall, Level 2 Main Terminal, across from Travelers Lounge. Parking is available in Short Term levels 4 - 7.

With refreshments at hand, guests can mingle with Palm Beach County artists whose photography, paintings and mixed-media works are inspired by the ever-changing weather and skyscape of Palm Beach County. The exhibition runs through May 7, 2008. Selected works were chosen by Palm Beach County’s Public Art Committee. Artworks are for sale.

Sky’s the Limit features works by local artists Jerry Ginsberg of Boca Raton; Kathleen Fosselman, John Frazee, Teresa Ann Frazee and Suzette Urs of Boynton Beach; Penney Seider and Vicki Siegel of Delray Beach; David Coston of Jupiter; Pamela Marie Banker, Chief Joseph the Eagle and Jacek Gancarz of Lake Worth; Audrey Krois of Lantana; Peter Debe of Palm Beach; Glen Thomas Pruitt and Barry Seidman of Palm Beach Gardens; and Maria Amatulli, Raymond P. Neubert, John Vincent Palozzi and Janet Villasmil of West Palm Beach.

Through a grant from Palm Beach County’s Cultural Council, HMS Host helps support Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places exhibition at Palm Beach International Airport, Destination: Culture. Selected works are exhibited for four months, with changing cultural and travel themes for every exhibition.

For a virtual tour of the art, visit www.pbcgov.com/fdo/art/exhibitions.htm.
