Commissioner Bob Kanjian joined County officials and invited guests at Palm Tran's “Going Green” event on March 31. Palm Tran, Palm Beach County's public transportation agency, held the event at the main operations center to announce new environmentally friendly initiatives. Palm Beach County commissioners, Governor Charlie Crist and U.S. Representatives Ron Klein and Tim Mahoney spoke about the benefits of the transit system's recent conversion to biodiesel fuel and nitrogen-filled tires.
