ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION LIST

1. LOCATION:          Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. from 60th St. North to south of Orange Blvd. (The Acreage)

DESCRIPTION:       Rebuilding the roadway from a 2 lane to a 4 lane divided roadway.

RESTRICTIONS:    Lane closures are not planned.

2. LOCATION:           CR 707 (Beach Rd.) over the Intracoastal Waterway (Village of Tequesta and The Town of Jupiter Inlet Colony)

DESCRIPTION:         Span machinery repair.

RESTRICTIONS:      Repair work began on February 19, 2013, and will be complete on July 8, 2013.  Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will only be interrupted during six isolated night closings 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

                                    The date of each night closing will be posted on the message boards one week in advance.

                                    On Tuesday May 21, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM there will be lane closures with alternating traffic by flaggers.

3. LOCATION:          Jog Road from S.R. 710 to Northlake Blvd.
                                    (City of Palm Beach Gardens)

DESCRIPTION        Construction of a 4 lane divided roadway with an entrance to the Florida Turnpike.

RESTRICTIONS:    On May 20th, 21st and 22nd 2013, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at the intersection of Northlake Blvd., the traffic signal will be off and the police will control the intersection traffic.

4. LOCATION:          Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. from south of Okeechobee Blvd. to Sycamore Dr.  (West of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves)

DESCRIPTION:       Construction of a 4 lane divided roadway from the existing 2 lanes.

RESTRICTIONS:    On May 21, 2013, there will be a new traffic pattern at the intersection of Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. and Sycamore Drive.

5. LOCATION:          Central Blvd. at C-18 Canal
                                    (Town of Jupiter)

DESCRIPTION:       Bridge widening.

RESTRICTIONS:    The road will be closed to all traffic Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, from May 22, 2013 to June 5, 2013.  Traffic will be detoured via:  Indiantown Rd., Island Way, Limestone Creek Rd. and Church Street.

6. LOCATION:          Florida Mango Rd. from 10th Ave. North to Forest Hill Blvd. (Town of Lake Clarke Shores)

DESCRIPTION:       Milling, overlay, pavement marking and reflective pavement markers.

RESTRICTIONS:    The project should start on May 28, 2013.  There will be alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.

7. LOCATION:          10TH Ave North at Swain Blvd.
                                    (The City of Greenacres)

DESCRIPTION:       Underground utility work.

RESTRICTION:       10th Ave. North will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians at 6:00 AM on May 20, 2013, and is scheduled to reopen at 6:00 PM on May 24, 2013. Traffic will be detoured via:  Haverhill Rd., Cresthaven Blvd. and Sherwood Forest Blvd. to the north and Haverhill Rd., Lake Worth Rd. and Jog Rd. to the south.

8. LOCATION:          Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. Bridge over the FEC railroad (City of West Palm Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Bridge repairs.

RESTRICTIONS:    There will be lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

9. LOCATION:          Gateway Blvd. from Military Trail to Congress Ave.
                                    (City of Boynton Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Installation of pavement markings and reflective pavement markers.

RESTRICTIONS:    There will be lane closures, however delays should be minimal.

10. LOCATION:       Congress Ave. from Hypoluxo Rd. to Lantana Rd.
                                    (west of the Town of Lantana)

DESCRIPTION:       Installation of pavement markings and reflective pavement markers.

RESTRICTIONS:    There will be lane closures, however delays should be minimal.

11. LOCATION:       S.R. 7 at the C-51 Canal
                                    (Village of Royal Palm Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Bridge widening and roadwork.

RESTRICTIONS:    Lane closures are not planned.

12. LOCATION:       West Atlantic Ave. from Lyons Rd. to Starkey Rd.
                                    (West of the City of Delray Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Road widening from 2 lanes to 4 lanes.

RESTRICTIONS:    The two new eastbound lanes are open; however only one lane westbound will be open at this time.

13. LOCATION:       Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. just west of Congress Ave. to 800’ west      (City of West Palm Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Utility work.

RESTRICTION:       The westbound outside through lane is closed from just west of Congress Ave. to approximately 800’ west.  Expect traffic delays.

14. LOCATION:       Ocean Ave. Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway
                                    (Town of Lantana)

DESCRIPTION:       Bridge removal and construction of a new bridge.

RESTRICTIONS:    The Bridge closed on March 18, 2012, and will reopen late 2013.  Traffic will be detoured via:  A1A, Lake Ave./Lucerne Ave. and U.S. #1

15. LOCATION:       Atlantic Ave. W at Jog Rd. intersection
                                    (west of the City of Delray Beach)

DESCRIPTION:       Intersection improvements.

RESTRICTIONS:    There will be daytime lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.

 16. LOCATION:      10th Ave. North at the Keller Canal between Florida Mango Rd. and Boutwell Rd.
                                    (west of the City of Lake Worth)

DESCRIPTION:       Installation of 2 pedestrian bridges and minor bridge widening.

RESTRICTIONS:    There will not be any daytime lane closures.  The only lane closures allowed will be from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
