Whether you're in foreclosure now or worried about it in the future, Bonnie Conrad, a local expert from the Housing Partnership, Inc., will guide you through the steps you will need to take if you think you will be unable to pay your mortgage. Ms. Conrad will also provide you with the tools and resources you need to make informed decisions about the options available to you. Federal programs available to modify mortgages, how to spot fraudulent modification programs, and how to avoid foreclosure rescue scams will also be part of the workshop. This workshop is free and open to the public. OCR's Mini Workshops are designed to engage, inform and educate citizens, and features varied topics of interest to neighborhood organizations and residents alike. They are a great opportunity for neighborhood leaders to interact and learn from one another. All community residents are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. |
