Bus Stop #319 Relocation
Route 1 northbound: Effective 1-19-15, Bus Stop #319 located at the northeast corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Federal Hwy has been permanently RELOCATED to the southeast corner. A new bus shelter has been built at this location and Route 1 northbound will now use this new bus stop location.
Bus Stop Temporarily Closed
Bus Stop #1059 located at the northwest corner of Military Trail and 10th Avenue in Lake Worth is temporarily CLOSED due to construction on the bus shelter. Route 3 southbound will NOT access this bus stop until construction is finished. Thank you for your cooperation.
Effective January 11, 2015 two additional buses will be dedicated to this route on weekdays. This will result in additional running time which will assist in keeping buses on schedule and improve overall route performance. Click here to view the new Route 1 weekday schedule.
Effective January 11, 2015 several changes will be made to the limited-stop Route 40 which will begin to offer all day service on weekdays between Belle Glade, Wellington, and West Palm Beach via SR 80. In order to streamline the route, two of the four trips between Belle Glade and Pahokee with the lowest ridership were eliminated, as well as an extra loop of downtown West Palm Beach. The route will begin in the Glades and end at the Intermodal Transit Center in Downtown West Palm Beach, where passengers can connect to several other Palm Tran routes and Tri-Rail. These routing changes, plus additional running time added to the schedule, will improve the route's on time-performance and efficiency. Click here to view the new Route 40 weekday schedule and map.
Attention Palm Tran Route 31 Riders, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, this route will resume regular routing and will NO LONGER be on a detour. Road construction will no longer impact this route. The one exception is the southbound bus stop #49 at Tamarind Ave and 7th Street, which CANNOT be accessed at this time and had been temporarily removed. After the construction is complete, the bus stop will be returned. Thank you for your cooperation.
