Palm Tran CONNECTION TD Bus Pass Program

 


    Overview:

    The Palm Tran Connection Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) bus pass program allows low income individuals the ability to purchase Palm Tran bus passes at a reduced price.


    Client Eligibility & Certification Requirements:

  • Clients can be Certified at the Palm Tran Connection (PTC) office at 3044 South Military Trail, Lake Worth, FL 33463. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

  • Only clients who have household income at 150% of the Federal Poverty Level or below will be Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Certified.

  • Once Certified, clients may also purchase passes at the Palm Tran Fixed Route office at 3201 Electronics Way, West Palm Beach, 33407; they are open Tuesday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to Noon, for existing Certified clients only.  A map to this office is here.

  • Clients must complete a “Bus Pass Registration & Eligibility” form and submit proof of income and a photo ID in order to be Certified.

  • Clients need to provide proof of income in the form of either a Social Security statement (SEQY), two recent paychecks (within 60 days), Retirement/Pension, or Income Tax Return statement.

  • Certification of eligibility is only in effect for one year – (Clients must Re-Certify yearly).

  • At the time of purchase, Certified clients may buy one 31 day pass every month or two every two months.

  • All TD bus pass clients are required to return their expired 31 day bus pass(es) in order to receive a new one.

  • TD Pricing for Certified clients:

  •         1 Day for $1.00

           31 Day for $15.00 IF household income is between 101% and 150% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

           31 Day for $10.00 IF household income is 100% or LESS of Federal Poverty Guidelines.


  • No Refunds, Exchanges or Replacements for lost or stolen bus passes.
