A: Regular full fare (single trip) is $2.00, half fare is $1.00, and children age 8 and under ride free with a fare paying passenger. An unlimited daily pass costs $5.00 or $3.50 reduced. These passes can be purchased on the bus and you should have exact change ready when boarding because fare boxes do not give change. However, a fare card will be issued for over-payment in excess of $1.00 which can be used towards future rides on Palm Tran.

A: Buses run 7 days a week, serving more than 3,200 bus stops from Jupiter to Boca Raton and west to the Glades. Generally speaking, weekday peak service runs every 30 minutes, off-peak service runs hourly, and weekend service runs hourly on most routes.
A: A: There is no bus service on the following days: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
A: Yes. You can put your bike on the rack in front of the bus on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no additional charge and no permit is required. Buses cannot accommodate mopeds, gas or battery powered motor bikes or scooters of any kind, or tandem bicycles. Portable bikes and scooters (only if secured into a carrying case or bag) are allowed inside the bus.

Palm Tran fixed-route buses travel throughout Palm Beach County and offer a half fare for seniors age 65 and over. Buses can kneel down to curb level, accommodating passengers with special needs.
