How To Apply for a Position at Palm Tran

Thank you for your interest in employment with Palm Tran. We can accept your application/resume only for those positions that are currently advertised.


When applying for a position that is advertised, you must include the following: Specific title of the position in which you are applying.

If you are claiming Veteran's Preference, you must furnish a copy of the Department of Defense document, commonly known as Form DD-214 or military discharge papers, or equivalent certification from Veterans Affairs listing, military status, dates of service and discharge type. Veteran's Preference documentation must be attached to the application and received in Human Resources by 4:30 p.m. on the listed closing date.

  • If you are applying for a position that requires you to drive, you must furnish a copy of the required Driver's License (i.e. CDL Class "A/B" with "P" endorsement) and attach it to the application.

You must reapply each time you are interested in being considered for a position. Human Resources cannot use an application/resume that you previously submitted. It is important that you complete all portions of your application and SIGN and DATE the back. Resumes are accepted as part of an application - not in place of one, unless the position states otherwise. If you wish, you may attach a resume to a completed application. Human Resources must receive your application/resume by 4:30 p.m. on the listed closing date.


Note: Human Resources will notify you by phone, 4-6 weeks after the posted closing date, only if you have been selected for an interview. If you have not been notified, it is safe to assume you were not selected this time and will need to reapply at a future posting.
