Palm Tran's brand new park and ride opened for business November 9, 2009!
With cooperation and support from the Village of Wellington and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Palm Tran is operating a new park and ride facility for commuters in Wellington, Florida.
The new park and ride lot is ideally situated near the Mall at Wellington Green, providing easy access for commuters to connect to several Palm Tran bus routes, including a newly modified limited-stop express Route 40. Route 40 Eastbound transports commuters from our western communities to downtown West Palm Beach in 35 minutes during select peak travel times.
The Wellington park and ride has 140 parking spaces with a covered shelter and bench for passenger convenience. Funding for the project was provided by FDOT.
For routing assistance, please call our customer service department at 561-841-4BUS (4287) or toll-free at 877-930-4BUS (4287).
