- Acquire knowledge in event production and develop your career skills
- Earn hours towards community service towards high school and college graduation
- Volunteer with flexible hours, during the week or on weekends
To become an amphitheater production volunteer you must ….
- Interview with the amphitheater team
- Successfully complete Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department volunteer application and screening process
- Attend the amphitheater volunteer training and orientation.

Amphitheaters have a need for production volunteers in the following areas:
Administrative Team
- Events Communicator: Responsible for answering phones and providing callers with helpful amphitheater information such as: amphitheater directions, special event times and more.
- Events communicator should possess a very personable and polite telephone manner.
- This team member will be needed during days leading up to an event and on event days.
- Production Assistant: Responsible for answering phones, filing, photocopying, data entry and other office tasks.
- Production assistant should possess effective communication and organizational skills. Computer skills (Word, Excel and Publisher) and the ability to use office equipment (i.e. printers, faxes) are required.
- This team member will be needed primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Event Enthusiast Team
- Intro-Tainers: Responsible for greeting patrons at the gate, taking guest attendance using the click-counter at the amphitheater entrance, requesting guests email addresses to add to amphitheater database, and passing out flyers.
- This team member will be needed primarily on event dates, on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Info-Tainers: Responsible for providing amphitheater events information to guests as they enter and exit the amphitheater. This position is responsible for answering a variety of questions pertaining to the amphitheater events.
- This team member will be needed primarily on event dates, on Fridays and Saturdays.

Showtime Team
- Showtime Liaison: Responsible for assisting the amphitheater team with event set-up and event load-in and load-out.
- Showtime Liaison will be needed to assist the amphitheater team with day of event activities such as monitoring the amphitheater ground during event load-in and load-out and during showtime.
- This team member will be needed primarily on event dates, on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Showtime Assistant: Responsible for assisting the amphitheater team in duties related to opening and closing the amphitheaters.
- Showtime Assistant will assist with set up and break down of stage equipment, set up and break down of chairs and tables, unlock and lock gates and other related duties.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs.
- This team member will be needed primarily on event dates, on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Vendor Liaison: Responsible for assisting amphitheater team with vendor check-in and registration.
- The Vendor Liaison will prepare vendor areas by unlocking gates, directing vendors; provide guidelines for facility use and other amphitheater information.
- This team member will be needed primarily on event dates, on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Leadership Facilitator: Facilitate group games and activities for community events.
- The Leadership Facilitator will work during co-sponsored county events that require activity stations.
- Must be able to work well with others in group settings.
