Volunteer Ambassador

Volunteer is responsible for instructing the public on the operation and use of the newly installed parking kiosks and answering general park questions at South Inlet Park.

  • Assists public with questions regarding the new parking kiosks
  • Assists and instructs public on how to operate the parking kiosks
  • Answers general park questions
  • Provides information on Park rules and regulations
  • Inspects parking area periodically and reports problems to appropriate staff

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Skill in the use of basic computer operations
  • Ability to assist the public in an effective and courteous manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to train other volunteers
  • Ability to make decisions in accordance with park regulations
  • Ability to walk, stand/sit, or bend
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat

Shifts available:
8:00 am - 6:00 pm daily [Variable hours are available]
