Facility Rental Policies and Procedures
Okeeheelee Nature Center’s rooms are available to rent for meetings and special events. You can also request an animal program or tour of the exhibits and trails for your event!
RENTAL FEES: (Two hour rental minimum on weekends)

PROGRAM FEES: (If applicable)
$3.00 per person (Minimum $30.00)
Payment is due on day of program payable in cash or check made out to PBC BOCC (PBC Board of County Commissioners).
PAYMENT:
All fees are due at the site meeting. Payment must be in the form of a check payable to: PBC BOCC (Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners). Two checks are required, one for the rental fees and one for the security deposit.
Credit cards, money orders, and starter/counter checks are NOT accepted.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: (Refundable)
$100 (one hundred dollars)
- Please submit your request (see forms below) to the Nature Center at least 30 days prior to the requested rental date.
- Group is responsible for setting up and cleaning up DURING the permitted rental time. Please keep this in mind when requesting rental times.
- If you choose to add a live animal program to your rental, please allow 1 hour for the program DURING the permitted rental time. Please keep this in mind when requesting rental times.
- In accordance with County Policy, some rental requests may require proof of General Liability Insurance coverage naming Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners as Additional Insured.
