May 21 - 27 is National Beach Safety Week
Swim safely in our South Florida surf at thirteen County-operated beach parks staffed by County Ocean Rescue personnel. They provide rescue, emergency medical, and drowning prevention services and programs for over three million beach patrons each year.

Waterparks now open weekends and holidays
Each waterpark has a full service concession featuring pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and more. Affordable birthday party packages are available, too.

Solo exhibit will feature AJ Brockman
Hosted by VSA Florida-Palm Beach County, a solo exhibit featuring the unique digital artwork of AJ Brockman opens May 18. He doesn’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy get in the way of his art!

Space still available in Youth Fishing Camps
...but you’ll need to reserve your space soon. Campers will receive a FREE rod and reel, and they’ll learn to tie knots, bait hooks, identify freshwater fish, and more!

Four-person amateur golf scramble
Join the fun on Saturday, May 19 at Okeeheelee Golf Course. This scramble will include a long drive contest, closest to the pin, and an optional cash skins game!

Whoooo Am I?
A new Eastern Screech Owl has taken up residence at Daggerwing Nature Center, and he needs a name. Visit the nature center before June 1 to submit a name for a chance to win a one-on-one Owl Encounter, an original owl painting by local artist Paul Cummings, and the honor of naming the owl.

Viva Classic Rock N Roll to perform live in concert
Viva takes center stage on Saturday, May 5 at Canyon Town Center Amphitheater for this FREE concert presented by G.L. Homes. This outstanding group is known for their outstanding four-part harmonies with an emphasis on music from the 50’s and 60’s. Enjoy hits like Magic Carpet Ride and Peppermint Twist, and more!

PBC Mounted Posse All Breed Show
Watch competitors of all ages ride in this all breed show at Jim Brandon Equestrian Center on Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6. Admission is FREE for spectators!

Student and adult volunteers needed for Bon Festival
