All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 966-7000 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Fees (if applicable) are due the day of the program by cash or check only. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than 5 minutes late to a program you have made a reservation for, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.
BOARDWALK TOURS
Every Saturday at 9:00 am & 11:00 am and Wednesday at 3:00 pm
All Ages - FREE (Reservations NOT Required)

WETLANDS
Saturday, March 3 at 1:00 pm (Reservations Required)
All Ages - $3 per person (4 & under Free)
What is a wetland? Why are they important? Visit Green Cay’s wetland to learn more and meet some animals that live in this environment.
SCIENCE FOR SENIORS: Amphibian Decline
Wednesday, March 7 at 1:00 pm (Reservations Required)
Adults 50 and older - $5 per person
Global warming, disease, and many other factors are endangering our planet’s inhabitants. This lecture will cover the decline in amphibian species across the world. Learn what you can do to protect this underappreciated group of animals.
SOUTH FLORIDA MAMMALS

Find out what mammals live in South Florida. Learn what makes mammals different from other animals and how their teeth and fur can tell you a lot about their lives.
SCIENCE FOR SENIORS: Butterfly Gardening

Adults 50 and older - $5 per person
Have you ever wanted to start a butterfly garden? Learn the basics for attracting butterflies to your yard and how to identify common butterflies found at Green Cay and in your new garden.

The Junior Naturalist Series is perfect for youth that are interested in nature and outdoor activities! It's a great way to learn about nature while having fun. Register for as many sessions as you like. Register now, space is limited.
STORY & CRAFT TIME
Saturday, March 31 at 10:00 am (Reservations Required)
Ages 3 to 5 yrs - $2 per child
Kids will discover nature through crafts and stories about animals and other nature-related themes!
