Phil Henry |
Phil grew up in Michigan living in several towns from St. Ignace to Port Huron, to Cadillac where he graduated high school. He developed a love of the outdoors spending most days either playing ice hockey, golfing, hunting, fishing or working on his grandfather’s farm. After high school he attended Francis Marion College in Florence, SC and Old Dominion University, VA on golf scholarships. After several years in San Diego, CA gaining experience in golf course maintenance Phil returned to Michigan and graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at Ferris State University. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army Reserves and moved to Baltimore, MD where he was the Assistant Golf Professional at Hillendale Country Club where he had the unique experience of working with two Presidents of the PGA of America, Bill Clarke, and Allen Wronowski. In 1994 Phil and his wife Rozanne and son Ty moved to Florida where he worked as the Assistant Pro for 2 years at The PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. After several years as the golf coach at Nova Southeastern University, Golden Bear Tour player, and Caddie Master at The Floridian, Phil began his municipal experience as the Head Golf Professional at The Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie from 2002 -2009. Phil and Rozanne have lived in downtown Lake Worth since 2001.
