Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department
Publishes Annual Water Quality Report
The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department recently
published its fourth annual Water Quality Report. The document is currently
being distributed to customers with their monthly bills.
The report provides results from extensive laboratory testing
that the utility performs to ensure the safety of the community’s drinking
water.
“We do more than 80,000 tests a year on our drinking water to
make sure
it is of the highest quality. Our facilities utilize state-of-the-art
technologies and our plants are staffed by dedicated state-licensed water
quality professionals,”
said Department Director Gary D. Dernlan.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the department
provides superior quality drinking water to approximately 400,000 residents
in the
central and south central portions of the county.
The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department is a
department of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
