County Administrator Receives Leadership Award from
ASPA
County Administrator Robert Weisman was
presented with the Professional Responsibility Exemplary Practices award
from the Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Society of Public
Administration (ASPA). The award reflects on his leadership, vision and
management during his tenure as administrator over the past 10 years for the
ultimate public benefit.
Verdenia Baker, the Deputy County
Administrator and outgoing president of the local ASPA Chapter, will be
succeeded by Don Lockhart, Executive Director of the County's Solid Waste
Authority.
With a diverse national
membership of more than 10,000 government and nonprofit administrators,
scholars, teachers and students, ASPA is the largest and most prominent
professional association in public administration.
