Fire Rescue Paramedics Showcase their Talent
Thursday July 11th 2002, Orlando Fl- The 2002
Bill Shearer ClinCon International Advanced & Basic Life Support
Competition was held at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.
County Fire Rescue's four member paramedic team competed against 55 other
teams from around the world. The final scenario simulated a parachuting
accident involving a total of five severely injured patients. In one of
the closest competitions in the history of ClinCon, a mere 5 points
separated Palm Beach County Fire Rescue from capturing first place. Fire
Rescue has twice won the covenanted first place Dr. Eugene L. Nagel
Trophy, once in 1986 and again in 1996. Fire Rescue is proud of their
ClinCon team and of all the other firefighters and paramedics working hard
to provide first class service to our community.
