VOTERS HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO TRY NEW VOTING MACHINES AT PALM BEACH COUNTY LIBRARIES

Theresa LePore, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, and Jerry Brownlee, Director of the Palm Beach County Library System, announce the availability of the County’s new touch screen voting machines for hands-on practice for the residents of Palm Beach County. The voting machine demonstrations will take place at the following County Library System locations during regular business hours, from August 12 – 18, 2002:

All Palm Beach County voters may try out the new equipment at the Supervisor of Elections Facility which is located at 240 South Military Trail in West Palm Beach between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Special demonstrations are available for community groups and organizations by appointment.
