SECTION 20. DISPOSAL OF BODIES OF DEAD ANIMALS.A. Any owner of any animal, upon the death of such animal, shall immediately dispose of the carcass by burning, burying at least two (2) feet below the surface of the ground or other authorized method of disposal; however, nothing in this section shall prohibit the disposal of such animal carcass to companies licensed to do business in this county. B. It is unlawful to dispose of the carcass of any animal by dumping such carcass on any public or private property. C. Any owner of any animal shall be responsible for the costs of disposing of the animal in instances where the Division disposes of the animal due to any emergency or the owner's failure to act. The costs of disposal shall be established by the Board by resolution. |
