The Board of County Commissioners has enacted an ordinance applicable to Palm Beach County retailers who sell tobacco products. The law prohibits selling tobacco products by means of any self-service display or placement. The retailer, counter clerk or cashier must assist customers who purchase tobacco products. The customer can have no access to tobacco products without assistance.
