Emergency Operations Center Activation Level

 
  1. Full activation. All primary and support agencies are notified.  The county Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is staffed by Emergency Management personnel, the Executive Policy Group, all Sections, their staff, state and federal representatives.

  2. Partial activation. Selected EOC staff notified.  The EOC will be staffed by Emergency Management personnel, necessary Sections, their staff and outside agencies as required to meet the operational need of the incident.

  3. Monitoring With Possible Activation. The EOC is staffed by Emergency Management personnel.  Notification is made to selected staffs that need to take action as part of their  normal responsibilities.

  4. Monitoring. This is the normal day-to-day operational “monitoring” level.  The Warning Point constantly  monitors potential threats.  All Emergency Management personnel, the Executive Policy Group, Sections and their staff are kept informed.  Emergency Operations Plans are regularly reviewed and revised.  Public education programs are presented.  Training is conducted.   Volunteers are recruited.  A variety of  task forces coordinate mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery planning.
