The Federal Public Assistance Program (PA) provides reimbursement to state, county and municipal governments, other governmental agencies, and Not-for-Profit Agencies that perform essential governmental services, for eligible costs sustained in recovering from a disaster.  The funds from this program are made available through the state to the applicants after a Presidential Disaster Declaration has been issued for the individual counties impacted in the disaster event.
