9-1-1

Our Mission is to minimize the loss of life & property by simple fast, efficient access to emergency services through technology and training. 9-1-1 Management is responsible for directing 9-1-1 calls to the appropriate answering point with the correct address information. We also receive the $0.50 fee collected on each telephone line and disperse these funds to finance the maintenance, operation and enhancement of the 9-1-1 system.

The 9-1-1 Public Education Team was formed from 9-1-1 call-taker/dispatchers with the goal of teaching the public to properly utilize the 9-1-1 system and inform them about 9-1-1 issues. The Team has presented 9-1-1 educational programs to elementary schools and adult organizations for the past two years. If your organization would like to host a 9-1-1 Public Education Presentation please contact Mark Adler (561) 712-6486. For the complete scope of information, please check the 9-1-1 website.
