The Recovery and Mitigation Section is Palm Beach County's coordinating link with partnering agencies ( including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Flood Insurance Program, Florida Division on Emergency Management and the county's 37 municipalities) for post-disaster recovery activities and for mitigation projects, programs, and initiatives intended to reduce, eliminate or alleviate future losses.
