For those individuals who do not qualify for Federal assistance through the Individual Assistance Program, do not have insurance, or other resources necessary to fully recover from a disaster, the County and various non-governmental disaster response agencies attempt to provide assistance for their unmet needs. This is done through case management review on an individual basis to determine eligibility for funding resources available through different agencies and programs. The Palm Beach County Disaster Recovery Coalition is a major coordinator in finding assistance for unmet needs of county citizens.
