Elder Justice Services

 

Program Description

The Elder Justice Center is a court program located on the 2nd floor of the Main Judicial Complex in West Palm Beach. Funding for the program is provided by the Board of County Commissioners. The program is available to persons over the age of 60 who may be involved in the court system, who have age-related issues, or who may have questions regarding available community services and resources. The staff of the Elder Justice Center cannot provide legal advice. The Elder Justice Center can provide guidance to court and community services and may be of assistance up to and including referrals to legal services.

Services Provided

The following services are provided for individuals over the age of 60:

  • Provide guidance and referrals to persons over 60 who have matters pending before the court
  • Ensure persons over 60 have full access to the courts and various programs
  • Provide information and make recommendations to the Court regarding the special needs of persons over 60 who are involved in court
  • Participate in the community's service providers' network

None.

Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
