What is Highridge Family Center?
A free three-month residential treatment program serving at-risk families with adolescents ages 11 through 15 years.

The Facility offers:

  • Six (three male and three female) dormitory-style "houses"
  • A Palm Beach County School District alternative education school component
  • Indoor/outdoor recreational facilities
  • Nutritional services
Services Provided:
  • Behavior Management
  • Cognitive Behavioral Groups
  • Family Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Individual Therapy
  • Milieu Treatment
  • Nutritional Services
  • Parent Education
  • Recreational Activities
  • School Experience
  • Specialized ADHD Program
How the Program Works:
  • Daily therapeutic services Monday through Friday
  • Parental involvement in weekly family sessions and monthly educational groups
  • Residents and families practice new skills at home each weekend
  • Residential and school behavior management
  • Shaping behavior by reinforcing positive and consequencing negative behavior
  • Teaching the values of Commitment, Trust, Responsibility, Maturity, and Integrity
