The Dubois Historic District

The Dubois Historic District Jupiter, Florida The DuBois Historic District is located within the boundaries of DuBois Park in Jupiter. Located within the district are excellent examples of early Palm Beach County architecture as well as significant Native American sites. The DuBois house is located on top of one of the Native American shell middens and was built over 100 years ago, making it one of the oldest extant houses in Palm Beach County.
The house is remarkable because of its design and construction as well as its placement on a Native American habitation site that was occupied for thousands of years. The Board of County Commissioners designated the district in 2006.
