The County’s Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) is specifically responsible for developing and recommending revitalization strategies as well as providing technical and financial resources to designated neighborhoods in Unincorporated Palm Beach County. The OCR is also responsible for administering the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) areas. CCRT areas are specifically designated geographical units that have been identified by the County’s Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) and the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) as neighborhoods that would most benefit from targeted revitalization efforts. There are 104 CCRT areas in the County, 64 of which are within the URA. Thus, the activities of the OCR will play a critical role in implementing and overseeing County revitalization, redevelopment, and infill initiatives. |
