A Zoning Confirmation Letter is a written response from the Zoning Division that confirms the zoning, land use, permitted uses or prior zoning approvals for the property requested. A determination of conforming/nonconforming uses and structures are also researched and issued. An applicant may also request a ULDC code interpretation if the circumstances pertaining to a particular property or use are not clear. Letters require 15 working days to prepare and must be accompanied by a completed Zoning Confirmation request form which includes the Property Control Number, any known Petition numbers and the present use of the property (ie: vacant, ice manufacturing, etc) and required fee. |
