Carmen Richardson
Accountability Officer,
Accountability Office

 

As Accountability Officer, Carmen C. Richardson ensures the highest levels of integrity and fiscal responsibility in the collection and distribution of over $3 billion in taxes and fees for the benefit of the community. She and her Accountability Team foster an environment that ethically and accurately accounts for and safeguards the funds entrusted to the Tax Collector’s Office, while striving to achieve the “un-government experience”.

Ms. Richardson shows great enthusiasm and energy in managing all functions of the Accountability Office. She is dedicated to the Tax Collector’s Office values of teamwork, learning, creativity, communication, diversity, professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility.

Ms. Richardson holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Tampa and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.
