Palm Beach County Tax Collector Makes First Hire:
Director Of Public Affairs

Newly elected Palm Beach County Tax Collector, Anne Gannon, announces the office's first new hire, Jennifer Mahoney, as Director of Public Affairs.

Ms. Mahoney's responsibilities will consist of developing a pro-active public affairs program including community outreach, customer education initiatives, and oversight of media activity throughout the Palm Beach County area.

"An integral part of our new initiatives at the Tax Collector's office will be our community outreach program." said Anne Gannon, Palm Beach County Tax Collector, "Jennifer's strong background in real estate and project management as well as her dedication to public service will bring her success as Director of Public Affairs."

"I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of Gannon's team. I look forward to learning more about the needs of the community and how the Tax Collector's office can better serve the citizens of Palm Beach County," said Jennifer Mahoney, Director of Public Affairs.

Mahoney comes to the Tax Collector's office from a diverse private sector background. With a Masters in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, she has expertise in residential development project management throughout Florida. Additionally, Mahoney is a founding member of West Palm 100, a volunteer organization focusing on the betterment of local children, families and neighborhoods.
