Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon released a new logo for her office this week. "The Tax Collector's office is taking strides to better serve the public through upholding a culture of excellence, improving efficiencies, and cultivating innovative new ideas. We need a fresh look to embody our new direction," said Tax Collector Gannon.

The symbols used in the logo are a key, which historically symbolizes guardianship, knowledge and security, and a Balance Scale, which is symbolic of fairness. The colors used are blue, representing stability and trustworthiness and gold, which is symbolic of money.
