Tax Collector Gannon Hosts Tea Party for Employees' Children

April 25, 2007

WEST PALM BEACH - Anne M. Gannon, Palm Beach County Tax Collector, will host a tea party for the children of Tax Collector employees participating in the annual "Take Your Children to Work Day 2007" on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd Floor of the Palm Beach County building in downtown West Palm Beach.

"This is a terrific opportunity for all our employees to show-off their workplace to their children. Each branch will be offering different activities for the kids including tours of each office and designing their own license plate." said Anne Gannon, "Each child has received a personal invitation to enjoy homemade cookies and beverages with me to end their day."

"Take Your Child to Work Day 2007" allows children of school age to experience some of the many careers offered by the Tax Collector's office. They can also discover the link between what they do now in school and how it relates to the opportunities they will have in the future as adults.
