WEST PALM BEACH - The Legal Services Department of the Palm Beach County Tax Collector will host a Paralegal Course from May 21- 25, 2007 to be held at the Ocean Club Beach Resort on Palm Beach for paralegals working with State of Florida Tax Collector's offices.

The course is designed to assist paralegals understanding of such items as proper etiquette when contacting a Judge's chambers, the most common mistakes made by paralegals when interacting with a court, the availability of existing electronic docketing information as well as working efficiently and avoiding the unauthorized practice of law.

Among the guests invited to participate are Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Barbara J. Pariente, United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida Chief Judge Paul G. Hyman and a number of U.S. Bankruptcy Court staff.
