Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon announces the promotion of three senior level managers and one external new hire, effective August 15.
“Members of our senior staff have shown exemplary leadership skills through their strong work ethic and commitment to our new customer service model. I’m proud to announce their well deserved promotions.”
David Brady, promoted to Facilities Manager, has been with the organization for 26 years. As Facilities Manager, David is responsible for modernizing our administrative and Service Centers to position our organization to better serve the public. He reports to the Director of Operations. Additionally, he will act as the liaison to the county Facilities Department. “I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this new position will bring.” Said Mr. Brady.
Jean-Luc Caous, promoted to Director of Information Technology, has been with the Tax Collector’s office for 13 years. “I’m energized about the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience to improve the technology infrastructure of the Tax Collector’s Office.” Said Mr. Caous.
Vicki Wooldridge, who joined the Tax Collector’s Office in spring 2007 as Governmental Affairs Manager, has been promoted to Director of Operations. Ms. Wooldridge will be responsible for the day to day business operations of all Service Centers. She succeeds David Brose, who will retire on October 1, 2007. “Our employees are the heart and soul of this organization and I’m very excited to be working with them and Ms. Gannon to implement our new vision.”
Tax Collector Gannon is please to announce the addition of Tom Fortson, as Deputy Tax Collector. Mr. Fortson graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and has a Master’s of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. He worked as a Logistics Engineer with Frito Lay, and most recently with Chiquita Brands International in project management and operations improvement. “Mr. Fortson will be integral to the implementation of process control throughout our organization and we are pleased to welcome him to the team.” Said Ms. Gannon.
