NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Palm Beach County Tax Collector requires professional services to identify the most qualified vendor that offers services to provide internet access to tax records on a hosted 3rd party application, at the lowest cost that meets all of our qualifications.
The TCO is seeking to improve its organization by operating reliable, cost effective access to tax records residing in our tax processing software (Manatron GRM), which will be evolving over time to the changing needs of Palm Beach County. The service providers should deliver on the following benefits:
- Provide tax payers real-time, web-based access to tax records
- Reduce technology risk
The Palm Beach County Tax Collector (TCO) is a constitutional officer elected by the citizens of Palm Beach County. The principal responsibility of the TCO is the collection of taxes for every local government agency empowered to levy taxes on property. The TCO also represents the State of Florida as an agent for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR).
Copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) may be picked up beginning November 2, 2009 during regular business hours (8:15 AM – 5:00 PM) at the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office – Technovative Services – 3rd Floor, 301 N. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 – Pick Up Window.
Eight sealed (8) copies and (1) electronic copy of consultant proposals are due by 4:00 P.M. on November 25, 2009, at The Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office – Technovative Services – 3rd Floor, 301 N. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
The Tax Collector of Palm Beach County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
