Detailed Instructions

Instructions: Navigating the web site for obtaining Delinquent Real Estate Property Tax Information

Property tax information, status of taxes, payment information, tax bills, and receipts can be found and printed from this site by following these steps:

  1. Place the mouse over the “Record Search Center” tab from the upper left corner of the page
  2. Select “Real Estate Property Tax Search”
  3. Enter the Property Control Number (PCN), Owner’s Name or    select Advanced Search for more search options.
  4. Select the year you wish to view and click search
  5. The next screen will read “Real Estate Property Details”
  6. There are four (4) blue tabs above the record that provide the following information:
  • “Detail” is the default screen. This page provides owner name(s), mailing address, Tax if Paid Today (Help), Total Tax (March Amount), legal description of the property.
  • “Payment” tab provides paid information for that year.  If the record’s payment status record shows “PAID” you will see the Disc Period (Discount –Discount given based on the month the payment was received in), Receipt Date (date paid), Receipt Number, Validated Amount (amount paid) and Gross Amount (March amount).
  • “Prior Years” tab provides payment history.  If a tax year shows “Unpaid” you must click on the Delinquent tab to view the status of those taxes.
  • “Delinquent” tab provides the status of the property taxes which will reflect: 

***If the record status shows “PURCH” or “UNPURCH” a tax certificate was issued for taxes that are delinquent and unpaid.***

  • Move the mouse over the record you wish to view and click.
  • Under the Record Status box, click “Click her for Amount Due”.
  • The Delinquent Certificate Tax Payment Information screen will appear in a pop up box.
  • Click on the blue Search box.
  • The total amount due will show in blue under the applicable month the delinquency will be paid.
  • Click the red X in the upper right corner of the page to exit.

 

Please note:  If the record shows “Delinquent Tax is Due – TDA you must contact our office immediately.  This means a tax deed application has been applied for the property.  For additional information or to obtain the pay-off amount call 561-355-2266.

Please Note:  The amount due on delinquent taxes is determined by the date payment is received, and not by the postmark. Payment must be in U.S. Funds and drawn on a United States Bank in certified funds.

Printing A Tax Notice or Receipt

To print a delinquent statement or receipt click on the “Print Statement” box located at the bottom lower left of the “Real Estate Property Certificate Details” page (Under the “Detail” tab).

***Adobe Reader must be installed to print the tax notice or receipt.***

Other Available Options (blue boxes) on the Real Estate Property Certificate Details Page:

  • “Search” box will take you back to the search window – “Real Estate Property Tax Locator” for another record search.
  • “Current Tax Year” box will take you to the most current tax year’s detail page.
  • “Property Appraiser Website - PAPA” re-directs to the property’s information page on the Property Appraiser’s Website (PAPA).
  • “Taxing/Levying Authority Assessments” provides a listing and breakdown of the Ad Valorem and Non-Ad Valorem amounts.
  • “Exemptions” provides a list of applicable exemptions and their perspective amounts.
