Payment Options for Property Taxes

Installment Payment Plan information

Property taxes may be paid through the following methods:

1. With a credit card - on the website or over the phone

  • You may use MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.
  • A 2.2% convenience fee will apply.

  • You may pay by phone by dialing (561) 355-2266 and following the appropriate prompts.
  • Due to a threshold amount set by the credit card companies, we can not accept a payment over $99,999.99.

2. With an E- check - on the website

  • E-Check is an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money, for the payment amount, directly from the taxpayer's bank account. An E-Check will only be accepted if drawn on a United States (U.S.) bank account and payable in U.S. dollars.
  • No additional fees apply to E-Check payments.
  • Click here to go to our online payment center.

3. With a check - by mail

  • Payment must be made in United States Funds.
  • Make checks payable to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County.
  • Pay the amount shown in the block, on the bottom portion, for the MONTH you are making payment. Click here for an explanation of your tax notice.
  • Use the correct date (postdated checks will be returned).
  • ***Sign the check*** (if by mail) .
  • Use the return envelope enclosed with your tax notice to return the bottom portion of the tax notice with your check.
  • The upper portion of your tax notice and your cancelled check or computer printout shall serve as your receipt.
  • Checks should include your Property Control Number (PCN).
  • Send payments to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County, P.O.Box 3353, West Palm Beach, FL, 33402-3353.

4. Wire Transfer Payment

Wire transfers are accepted for payment of current and delinquent taxes. To complete a wire transfer, please contact us via email at taxwires@pbcgov.com.
