Property Tax season is here, as is the implementation of property tax reform approved by Florida voters. Our offices are buzzing with activity. Palm Beach County Taxpayers Revamp Web Payment System

Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon turned to taxpayers to make the process of paying taxes more convenient. Her latest initiative to transform the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office includes enhancing the web payment system to make the online payment process more straightforward. Read more>

Discounts Available for Early Tax Payments

The 2008 property tax notice should arrive in mailboxes shortly. Property taxes are collectable November 1 – March 31. Taxpayers will have the ability to pay a reduced rate through February. Discounts for early payments are allowed as follows: Read more>

Amendment One Tax Reductions Included in Current Tax Notice

Homestead taxpayers will see an additional $25,000 exemption (applied to all tax levies except school taxes) on the November tax notice. The doubling of the Homestead exemption was one of several property tax reform provisions of Amendment One approved by Florida voters in January 2008. Read more>

Tourist Development Taxes Helping Increase Palm Beach County Tourism

Palm Beach County offers some of the best attractions, resorts, festivals, natural resources, cultural venues and sporting activities. Funding for activities such as tourism promotion, cultural arts, cultural non-arts (museum, zoo, historical society, etc.) and beach restoration is derived from the Tourist Development Tax.
