The Tax Collector’s Office Telephone Activated Vehicle Information System (TAVIS) provides authorized businesses and government agencies access to the Division of Motor Vehicles Florida Real –Time Vehicle Information System for a nominal fee. TAVIS makes accessing vehicle information quick and convenient. Access to the automated information is given by phone or fax and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
