Have We Made Your Day Lately?

“You’ll have to ask someone else.” “I don’t have time.” “People should already know that –we’ve been doing it for years.” “I’m sorry but I can’t break the law.” “I don’t know why we have a new system.” These statements and others are what clients expect in a government setting. However, the Tax Collector’s Office is undergoing a culture change to provide the “Un-Government Experience” to clients.

The “Un-Government Experience” is an organization-wide initiative to create service standards that will:

  • Excite customers (Focus on our Clients)
  • Exceed operationally (Focus on Work Place Efficiency)
  • Expand resources (Focus on Compliance and Revenues)
  • Energize employees (Focus on Employee Development)

Many changes have been implemented to increase productivity, service quality and employee professionalism. We would like to hear from you about your experience in our office and how we can provide efficient, accurate and friendly service. You are invited to email: taxconta@pbcgov.org for tax collection assistance or with any suggestions for improving our service.

Anne M. Gannon was elected as Tax Collector of Palm Beach County in November, 2006. Tax Collector Gannon invites you to contact our office with questions at (561) 355-2264, or visit our website.
