This month’s newsletter provides an article on recycling tips beyond those offered in the 2009 Tax Planner & Services Guide. Local Tax Season Reminder
March is a busy month for local taxes. This month the FULL AMOUNT of Property Tax is due, Tangible Personal Property Tax Returns are due, and Tourist Development Tax Returns are due. Read more>
Tax Collector Holds Public Auction of Tangible Personal Property for Delinquent Taxes
The Tax Collector has levied and seized tangible personal property for delinquent taxes for tax year 2006 and 2007. The internet auction was held by authority of Chapter 197.412 & 197.413 Florida Statutes and pursuant to Florida Administrative Code 12D13.44 on February 25 at 8:00 PM EST. Read more>

Honest Services & Public Integrity Workshop
Over 100 attendees participated in the Honest Services & Public Integrity Workshop sponsored by the Palm Beach County Tax Collector and Palm Beach County League of Cities. Participants in the free workshop included elected or appointed officials, public advocacy groups, governmental board members and members of the business community who interact with government.
