Workforce Alliance Program

Ideal for college students on summer break, recent high school graduates or any young adult (Aged 18-24) seeking great career opportunities, the Workforce Alliance, Inc. has a summer employment program from July 6 to August 14, 2009. Workforce Alliance is the recipient of stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) to completely fund the wages of the young adult participants as well as the Worker’s Compensation costs.

Young adults will participate in a work readiness segment during the last two weeks of June. This will be followed by the employment segment at various Palm Beach County employer worksites. This is an opportunity to hire temporary staff at no cost, and at the same time provide work experience for young adults, giving them the opportunity to develop or enhance their workplace skills.
