Team TC at the Komen Race for the Cure

The employees of the Tax Collector’s office elected to support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to raise money for breast cancer research in the Palm Beach County area. On Saturday, January 19 th, 33 employees walked to support the cause in the Komen South Florida Race for the Cure. Participation agency-wide was overwhelming, exceeding our $5,000 fundraising goal to fight breast cancer. With a staff that is nearly 90% female, many employees have been touched by breast cancer, either themselves, a family member, friend or co-worker.

Through our involvement with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, we encourage you to educate yourself and your loved ones about breast cancer.
