The mission of the Building Division is to provide a high level of building code compliance for the preservation of life, safety and the general welfare for the people of Palm Beach County.

This is accomplished through the enactment and enforcement of effective codes and standards to ensure the structural strength, sanitation, fire protection, adequate light and ventilation, and other essential elements of life safety in the built environment. The Building Division accomplishes their Mission with a maximum goal in service and efficiency.
